The Board of Directors

Argus is an independent Australian Public company committed to the design, development, integration and delivery of identity management solutions for government and commercial communities, based on Iris Recognition Technology.

It traces its involvement with iris recognition technology to 1997 when it commenced selling iris recognition products and established a relationship with IriScan (later Iridian Technologies). An iris recognition focused company (Iris Australia) was established in 1999 to build on the core skills relating to the technology.

In 2002 Iris Australia was renamed Argus Solutions. This name change reflects the wider activities in which the company is involved with iris recognition technology, in particular the corporate activities being expanded to a global market.

Operating solely in the biometrics industry, Argus is focused exclusively on iris recognition technology. Our success therefore relies on complete customer satisfaction in the deployment of highly trusted iris recognition solutions.

With six years experience in iris recognition, Argus holds Australian distribution rights from Iridian Technologies Inc (US) for sale of iris recognition solutions and is licensed to build new software and hardware solutions on a global basis.

Together with strong partnerships such as LG, Securimetrics and Panasonic, Argus takes to market best of breed iris recognition cameras and software solutions and is continually striving towards the satisfaction of market requirements through the development of new and innovative products.
